American Man Gets Phone Back After Failed Snatch

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On October 04, 2020, An American man, JAMES ALEXANDER, had his phone snatched at Battambang bus station, on the street 126/81, Sangkat Psar Thmei 2, Phnom Penh.

The victim left the Zing hotel, where he was staying and went to the bus station. Then, he used a phone to make a call. Suddenly, the two suspects rode a motorbike close to the victim and snatched his phone. But the victim screamed out for help, and the police and the local people arrested the suspect with the evidence immediately.
After questioning, the suspects submitted to a drug test, and the result was positive for drug substances in both cases. The suspects were identified as Song Pich, 31 years old, and Chron Narong, 18 years old.

The police confiscated an Icon motorbike plate PP1-AH7133, and an iPhone X that belonged to the victim. The police are preparing the case and searching for the rest of the phone snatching gang.
