Monk Crossing Road Hit by Car and Killed

Cambodia News (Siem Reap): On October 04, 2020, a monk named Sang Sothea, 68 years old, died on the way to the hospital after getting hit by a car while he was walking across the national road 6, Tropeang Chrang village, Krolanh district, Siem Reap.

A 56-year-old man, Som Thy, was driving a car, plate BTB2C-0017, from Battambang in the direction from east to west, when the car hit the monk who was walking across the road to stop a car for a ride to go to Siem Reap city. He died on the way to the hospital. The victim wasn't careful while he was crossing the road and was hit by the high-speed car.

The evidence was taken to Krolanh police station, waiting to sort the problem out later.
