Man Almost Drowns After Jump from New Monivong Bridge

Cambodia News, Phnom Penh: On October 2, 2020, at the point of the new Monivong Bridge, Sangkat Chbar Ampov I, Khan Chbar Ampov, Phnom Penh, a man tried to jump into the water to commit suicide, but failed.

The man is named as S** Ratana, male, 24 years old, living in Sangkat Stung Meanchey II, Khan Meanchey, Phnom Penh. He said that he was desperate because there is a family crisis.

Before the incident, the man was seen walking on the new Monivong Bridge, suddenly in the middle of the bridge, he jumped into the water, but because he knows how to swim, he did not drown.

If he knew how to swim, then jumping from a tall building would have made more sense if serious about it
