Peppery House

Discussions about restaurants, cafes, coffee shops or bars in Cambodia. Feel free to write any reviews you have, whether its the best burger you've had in Phnom Penh or the worse pizza in Kampot, we want to read it! Discussions about Khmer dishes are also in here, or you can leave your own. If you own a restaurant, feel free to let the expat community know about it here so that we can come check it out. Found a favorite cafe or have a place we should avoid? Tell us about it. Asian recipes & questions are always welcome.

Grammar police everywhere!
I tend to sleep in the nude. Which isn't a bad thing except for maybe on those long flights.

Looks like a Thai restaurant, based on the pics of the menu above.

Did I mention I have a 30% discount card! ? ! ?

I prefer (you're) but that's just me.

I remember on a show a certain people wouldn't use contractions because they thought they were poor grammar.

Or you'd finished your 40oz and fallen asleep in front of Star Trek: Next Generation, where this is criticality important to Lt. Data.

From memory there are folk high on the autism spectrum that won't use contractions - usually savants.

My most favourite disorder joke (I was an ambo, give me a break)
Wife: honey, the work thing tonight is formal, we'll have to dress up, okay?
Husband (with Aspergers): as what?

Got my 30% off, food was ok. Price was good. Place was a ghost town.

Not sure we will be rushing back, can't see the place lasting really. Fair to middling food, good service and plenty of competition for asian style food.

"Peppery House" had me thinking this would be some sort of spice-fest, sadly it was not.

One of my favourite ever meals was at "Spice Temple" in Melbourne - every dish was amazing and spicy crazy. Admittedly the prices were 10 times what they are at Peppery House.
