Cambodia News, Phnom Penh: Last night, a man suspected of being drunk drove a car into a lamp post and two cars parked in a parking lot, hitting a sign, a motorbike and the door of a house, seriously injuring two people in Phnom Penh.

At 22:00 past midnight on October 1, 2020 in front of a house near Chak Angre Krom pagoda along National Road 2, a man was seen driving a black Lexus RX-300, with license plate Phnom Penh 2K-9487, along National Road 2 in a north-south direction, flying as fast as he could.


For some reason, the above-mentioned vehicle swerved to the right and hit two stone street lights, which crashed to the ground, and then continued on to hit two cars parked in front of a house, one Camry Shark and one Corolla.

A man, a nephew of the owner of the house, was seriously injured, when the car continued to crash into another Honda motorcycle, causing serious injuries to the owner of the motorcycle.

Two men were seriously injured at the scene.
The driver of the Lexus, despite slight injuries, fled the accident scene. He is being sought by police.
