Cambodian Law on the Control of Firearms, Explosives and Ammunition

Post by CEOCambodiaNews »

Hello CEO readers,
This is for your information. Sometimes there are questions here on the forum relating to possession of guns and firearms. We don't always know the answers. Normally, foreigners are not permitted to carry firearms.
This ( link below) was posted on 15 September 2020, and so should be up to date, but the whole thing is too long to translate. If you don't read Khmer, but are really interested, go to the link and get someone to do the translation for you.

Phnom Penh: Before you want to use weapons, please learn about the law on the control of weapons, explosives and ammunition ..
The following is the law on the control of firearms, explosives and ammunition:

It's self explanatory (and there is a full English translation available online)....Foreigners are not permitted to be in possession of firearms, explosives or ammunition, there are no questions or exemptions (apart from diplomatic protection staff with prior approval from the Govt.).

Speaking of Old Mish, does anyone have any update? I guess at some point he'll have his trial?

50 bucks for any CEO member who can track down Mark Aspinall,
where held? when court appearance? any other info?

$50 more if you can actually make contact by phone or visit
and say g'day from me, tell him to "hang tough"

i'm serious, western union same day,
i've got a promise to keep
