Cambodia news, (Phnom Penh): A 38 year old Khmer pig slaughterer, Khin Sophal,was arrested after he stabbed two Chinese men, at 8:00 pm on the 17th September 2020 at the point of concrete road, group 15, Spean Khpos village, Sangkat Kilometer 6, Khan Russey Keo. The man is suspected of using drugs.

The first victim was HUANG XIAOHAI, a 45-year-old Chinese man, living at Ganzberg Beer Company in Sangkat Kilometer 6, Khan Russey Keo, Phnom Penh, working as a welder (left hand injury).

The second victim was LUO YONGKUN, male, 53 years old, Chinese national, staying at Ganzberg Beer Company in Sangkat Kilometer 6, Khan Russey Keo, Phnom Penh (severe left back injury).

Heang Tharet, Russey Keo District Police Inspector, said that before the incident on September 17, 2020 at 19:30, the suspect and his brother rode a motorcycle to look for the Chinese man to ask about a dispute they had the day before. They didn't find him, so at 8:00 pm on the same day, the suspect went to the victim again, carrying the knife with him, and then met the victim, HUANG XIAOHAI, who was leaving his workplace.
The suspect stabbed the victim between his shoulder blades, causing serious injuries, so a man named LUO YONGKUN rushed to help the other Chinese man, but he got stabbed in the left forearm. Immediately, the people who saw the above incident reported to the police, and the police force, the police inspectorate, the police station and the district intervened and arrested the suspect immediately.

Both victims were taken to Calmette Hospital for emergency treatment.
