Cambodia News (Kandal): One of two suspects, GUAN WEIZHONG, a warehouse manager, 54-year-old Chinese man, was arrested for stealing polycarbonate resin at his workplace on August 23, 2020, at 2:30 pm, in Prey Rokar village, Angksnoul district, Kandal. Another suspect, GUAN JUN, a 28-year-old Chinese man, a worker in the company, ran away to escape.

The victim of the theft was identified as XU JIANRUI, a 37-year-old Chinese man, general manager at Kay Yean company in Borey Piphup Thmie, Khan Kambol, Phnom Penh. The victim lost 20 rolls of polycarbonate resin, which is worth about 18,410 USD.

Before the incident, the victim went to visit his hometown in China and left the work for the suspects to handle. A witness named Mean Sophy said on August 14, 2020, said that he heard the suspects planning to send the product to sell at another place, so he reported this information to his boss. The boss told him to go to the warehouse and take all the keys, but the suspects had another bunch of keys to unlock the warehouse.

On September 07, 2020, the victim returned from his hometown and found that his company had lost 20 rolls of polycarbonate resin that cost about 18,410 USD. The police are proceeding the case following the legal procedure.
