Cambodia News, Prey Veng: On September 8, 2020, a wanted suspect who burglarized a house and stole a motorbike in Kampong Speu province on August 31, 2020 was surrounded and taken into custody by the Criminal Police Department in his village in Prey Veng province, where he was hiding out.

Together with Kampong Speu Provincial Police and Prey Veng Provincial Police, the authorities implemented the arrest warrant of Kampong Speu Provincial Court and arrested a 39-year-old suspect named Mean Thul at Sampour village, Prey Toteung commune, Mesang district, Prey Veng province.

The case of burglary occurred on August 31, 2020 in Pong village, Tang Krouch commune, Samrong Tong district, Kampong Speu province, where the two suspects stole a Scoopy motorbike with license plate Kampong Speu 1Q-2502, 2020 series, from the victim named But Chetra.

After realizing that the motorcycle was missing, the victim called his relatives Buth Piseth and Huon Lyhak to help him look for the motorcycle along National Road 4. At that time, But Piseth and Huon Lyhak found the motorcycle that the suspects had stolen at kilometers 39 and 40. They hit one suspect on the head with a helmet, and the other suspect fled immediately after firing a shotgun at the two victims, injuring them.
The suspect was eventually tracked down by police and arrested in the operation in Prey Veng on September 8.
