More Strife on Kampot Social Media
Kampot: There is a disagreement going on between the food delivery service TukOut and some Kampot restaurants. It seems that restaurants that have decided to dispense with their agreement with TukOut, have been described as "closed" or "shut down" by TukOut. Understandably, these restaurants, which are open for business, are a trifle upset.

Re: More Strife on Kampot Social Media
So a business that tries to do well is being shunned?
Edit to Add: just re-read the OP and saw the dubious practice of making false claims that competitors had shut down..... sneaky... very sneaky lol
But the last bit of my original post still stands below as an underlying feeling that I get about these things that always seem to go on in Kampot.
Is this another case of sour grapes from jealous wanna-be's?

Not only in Kampot. From social media page Expats and locals living in Siem Reap, Cambodia:

I don't understand what is the real problem here? No one goes to tukout site to check if the restaurant is open or closed down. They want to order food simply. How these restaurants going to handle food orders? By phone in 2020? Yeah it's bit dirty from tukout but still no real harm done to anyone. These restaurants should just update their marketing to 2000s already.

thanks for the info. I wont use that service for sure. Practices like that deserve some cosmetic nose adjustment.

Maybe just go to eat at Unhappy Special Pizza. Watch the new paving stones being laid along the riverwalk

Tukout failed as a business due to this misstep and the arrogance of the idiot in charge of it who wanted to hold payments for food and pay the restaurants each quarter rather than at time of pickupCEOCambodiaNews wrote: ↑Sun Sep 06, 2020 6:27 pm Kampot: There is a disagreement going on between the food delivery service TukOut and some Kampot restaurants. Nham24 dominate the delivery biz in Kampot now.

Whenever you reading a thread if you scroll to the bottom of the page you'll see "similar topics". One click on there and you could be reading a thread from several years ago. No forensic searches there. Or if you do a search for say "food delivery Kampot" in the search function at the top of any CEO page you could easily pull up this thread.
Easy peasy. 30 seconds.
