Two Goats for Sale
Two Goats for Sale
Greetings CEO.
Two goats for sale from my organic farm.
I have raised both goats from birth.
I use Diatomaceous Earth for de-worming.
No antibiotics
Goat 1-Black and white. A female about two years old. She appears to be pregnant for her utters are swelling. Usually, goats have one or two babies. This is her first time pregnant.
Goat 2- Black /Brown/White with horns. A male about one year old.
Both in good health and no previous issues.
I would prefer to sell both of them together.
150$ total for both goats.
Location near Kampot.
I can assist with arranging delivery.
Please contact me via PM for further details
Selling because the wife is eight months pregnant, and I do not have the time to care for the goats at the moment.

Re: Two Goats for Sale
Yeah, try to keep them together if anyone is thinking of buying them.
i had the interesting experience of part managing a solo ram one time. Sheep, not a goat, but it would probably be similar issues.
Lovely beast. Great lawnmower and you get natural looking waves and bumps for your lawn instead of that horrible flat even bowling green look. And the best machines ever invented for chomping up all those woody shrubs and weeds on the wilder parts of your property.
But please, do yourself a favour , and him, never ever try to keep a single solo ram of any kind tethered to a stake as a lawnmower for the rest of it's life.
It's not going to work out for anybody.
Too many dramatic moments for you, the ram, and the rest of the garden.
A pair or a solo female would probably be a different story. ??
The beast, the lawn effect, taming the mighty Mekong riverbank (note also the elephant in the background)

Re: Two Goats for Sale
Could you tell what area of land would they need and also care?
Are they prone to escape and wander around?

I need some washing taken care of...
Seriously though, it makes me want to live in the country for a while. Do rams have to be tethered? The female is roaming free. Are goats wanderers or will they stay put? Do they get stolen a lot?

I live in Kampot but unfortunately I’ve not the space for goats
I am interested in diatomaceous earth ..... for me ..... I raised sheep and goats back in Canada and used it regularly as a personal internal parasite prevention.
Do you get yours around here ?

Re: Two Goats for Sale
The wander, they eat up your garden, they eat up the neighbours garden, they get stolen, hey get eaten, they beat up your neighbours dog.
So they need to be penned or tethered but if its a solo ram even then he will try to fight you or root you every tine you go anywhere near.
Well that was my experience anyway - mind you i did have a very attractive Ho Chi Minh goateee at the time.
Re: Two Goats for Sale
Maybe not what you are hoping for, but you may get someone who wants them for meat.
If you just want to get rid of them, and don't care if they are killed for meat, talk to people in the Muslim community.

Re: Two Goats for Sale
I remember my first ever trip down to Sihanoukville, I was accompanied by two young ladies that time, and we went to feed the monkeys. Out of the blue a male goat charged, sorry I was a little concerned at the time for the ladies and myself, so was slow on getting the photo. One of the ladies tackled the goat has it came full charge, grabbing the angry beast by the horns. You should have seen it up on it's back legs has she grappled and wrestled with it, by now the goat would not give up, the only way was too escape by tuc tuc.
Always "hope" but never "expect".
