Foreign Man on a Sihanoukville Rooftop

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. Cambodia News, Sihanoukville: (Preliminary information) A Chinese man was seen climbing on to the top of a new building under construction at around 3 pm on 18.08.2020, in front of Wat Krom, Sangkat 3, City / Province Preah Sihanouk. He sat on the edge of the roof with his legs over the side, and observers suspected that the man was intending to jump off the roof to commit suicide.

CEO News: However, since no further information was provided after this announcement on a social media news site, we can hope for the best: that the man changed his mind and came down from the roof top safely.

I was in complete agreement with you when you said we can hope for the best, but then our differences became apparent when you added that you hoped he changed his mind and came down safely.

Chinese are considered foreigners in Sihanoukville? Anyway, hope he made it down safely.

I would have thought that anybody who isn't Chinese, is considered a foreigner in Sihanoukville nowadays ?

Only if you believe in superstitions, spirits, ghosts, reincarnation and various imaginary friends.
