whats happening in your area of Cambodia

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Pub street is open again, all clubs and bars are open again, according to my tuk tuk driver.

Renovations at Candy bar are progressing at a furious pace

And the girls outside the hostess bars don't have to sit in the dark anymore (albeit that's last week's news)

8) in Siem Reap...the tourist are gone, the pollution is bearable, not much happening, it feels like a ghost town compare to the past 2 years...I have had no bad Experiences with people blaming me for the kungflu. Most folks especially local folks ignore wearing masks and social distancing. I have seen a few very paranoid tourist, I have a smokers cough LOL that has been belly entertaining.

That's about right in my experience.

It's not so quiet in my part SR. Local life carries on as normal. They just built a new bar across the street and they're doing a big new building down the road. Looks like a hotel or condo.

I might say 1 of 200 or 300 is wearing a mask. It's usually a guy in a car riding alone with the mask pulled under his nose so he can breathe though.

I did see a Spanish woman down by the old market wearing a mask two weeks ago. It was memorable because it was so different.

I still haven't even purchased a mask. I do have plenty of toilet paper though.

I bought a box of masks before the plandemic. I use them Less now than before. The dust from excessive automobiles was a Big problem during High Season in S.R....Today?....SOS different day...in many aspects due to Not having to rely on the tourist industry for my bread and butter/rice. Thangs could be worse ~
