Cambodia News, Siem Reap: A man driving a RCAF plate Lexus, made a run for it after a collision with a motorcycle on National Road 6 in Siem Reap. According to reports, at 3:40 pm on August 18, 2020, the Lexus was driving fast along the national road from the direction of Phnom Penh when it hit two girls on a motorbike, who were crossing the road without paying due care and attention. The two victims, who are aged 23 and 13, were taken to Siem Reap Referral Hospital by ambulance.

The Lexus driver quickly left the scene before police arrived. After a search, he was found hiding in a field next to Wat Khna Thnong in Kork Romeas village and was taken into custody by police. He is a 36-year-old resident of Porsenchey in Phnom Penh.

The car driver confessed to crashing into the Honda Dream on National Road 6, and is currently being questioned at the provincial police commissioner, while the car is being stored at the Chi Kreng District Police Inspectorate to comply with the law.
