Cambodia News (Sihanoukville): On August 12, 2020, at 11 pm, a 42-year-old Indonesian man, GO HENDRY SUNDJAYA, an online clothes seller, was arrested for kidnapping and torturing another Indonesian man.

The police came across an injured Indonesian man who was sitting on the roadside near the Sihanoukville International Airport. He told them that a fellow Indonesian had kidnapped him and beaten him up. The police sent the injured Indonesian man to the hospital, and searched for the suspect and locked him up. They confiscated two phones, 18 cards, a passport,and two bags.

After police questioning, the suspect confessed that he kidnapped the victim and kept him at his rented house for some days until on August 12, 2020, at 6 pm, when he dropped the victim in front of the airport so he could go back to Indonesia. The suspect said the reason that he kidnapped the other man and beat him was because the man owed him 15,000 USD.
