Following the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Outbreak - News and Discussion
Re: Following the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Outbreak - News and Discussion
Nor do any of the rest of us. I also do not want to see unnecessary lockdowns and the wholesale destruction of society and that which makes us human.newkidontheblock wrote: ↑Sun Aug 16, 2020 1:57 pm Some posters won’t believe the virus is bad until they see bodies in the streets.
Bodies in the streets implies there’s no one left to take the bodies and bury them. Everyone alive is sick and dying themselves.
Like during the Khmer Rouge. Everyone who wasn’t dead was starving to death. Or during the Black Death where 30% died and the rest were so weak that the best they could do is put all the dead in mass graves - like tens of thousands in a large pit in Paris.
Total breakdown of society. If that happens, no one will be moaning about not having beers at the bar. They’ll be making deals with demons for an extra day of life.
I never want to see bodies in the streets.
Luckily, neither one of those things is actually necessary as a result of the mostly harmless and benign coronavirus.

You should not be so quick to believe "experts" Richard. Lots of them are on the take from Big Pharma or Big Govt and there have been books written about this. Google Marcia Angell--amazon for one book that comes to mind.phuketrichard wrote: ↑Thu Aug 13, 2020 1:51 pm not sure about anyone else out there, but i believe the experts over any politician everyday
and way over the opinions of any random, ill-informed poster on some forum
There are hundreds of scientists and MDs who are on record as saying that this is all bullshit and/or a ridiculous, destructive, counter-productive over-reaction to a mostly mild pathogen. But you don't read about them in the dishonest mainstream media, which unfortunately is where most of you seem to get your "information". Except if the dissenters become well known through other media, then the Mainstream Media are quick to do a hatchet job on them.

Please post links to your claims so we can all be 'educated'.Smedley wrote: ↑Sun Aug 16, 2020 11:36 pmYou should not be so quick to believe "experts" Richard. So far all I've seen is this mysterious claim of higher knowledge and some guy living in Thailand that saw a video on YouTube made by some guy he doesn't know showing him empty hospitals.
I was taught the who, why, where, what, when rather than just believing something because I want to believe it as it fits my narrative.
Who wrote it?
Why did they write it?
Where was it?
What was it about?
When was it written?
Do you know anyone personally that is in a position to have real knowledge on this matter that has told you its all a hoax?

Great you mentioned 2A !!! One of my fetishes is pissing on people and since you’re such a defender of individual liberties I’ll take exception and aim for the mouth. Of course you’ll be fine with me doing this as 2A clearly states that my personal liberties come before yours!!!glennb6 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 15, 2020 8:28 pmIf you are referring to 52 dying of CV alone in Thailand? Frankly if you want to play games, we should throw you and your mates in a secure camp, no hospitals, masks or anyone who doesn’t want to be there. We’ll give you food everyday and let you out in a year. Then you can play God with your own lives!glennb6 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 11:25 pmchinesetakeaway wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 10:22 pmThe welfare of the vulnerable must come before others in a pandemic. As long as your ox isn't getting gored it's ok.
whom are these vulnerable people? If they are at risk then recommend they wear masks, condoms, bunny suits, and stay in their sealed rooms. And note I said recommend and not mandate or force at the point of a gun. Up to them, and if I were old and sick, well me personally I doubt if I'd want to remain quarantined from all others for long.
To scream "granny killer" is a load of virtue signaling control freak socialist bull crap. ASK GRANNY and up to her.
Again, I don't know where you are from so I can't say otherwise about your local hospitals full, but in the ussa there are plenty of videos circulating of empty hospitals that the media was claiming were 'like a war zone of CV victims'. Empty emergency rooms, no ambulances, quiet waiting rooms. Videos of doctors and nurses saying exactly the same. Covid victims - nope. refer trailers of bodies - fake and a hoax.
Here's the point. From worldometer's figures, since beginning of year shows 764,148 deaths in a world of 7.8 billion people is a 0.0098% death rate, or you could say a 99.99% survival rate. Believe the stated death numbers are 100% CV or don't (I absolutely don't) it still shows ridiculous small fatality rate. Never in history have govt's gone full martial law nuts police state and wrecking their own countries' economies for less that 1/100th of their populations sake.
It makes no sense medically, or for the health and welfare of any of the countries. Therefore if it doesn't make sense then there must be another reason(s).
I get bored posting and showing incidences and proofs of scam after lie after fake after mass propaganda BS - especially to the screaming Karen types who ignore simple math and logic. They (you) are not about helping people, they (you, especially after reading your crap about locking me and my mates in secure camps), but about seeking power and control.
Now me being an expat in Thailand I don't really have a legit say in how the govt here operates, and certainly can't get uppity if I intend to stay. That would not be the case if I were living back in the ussa. And understand this guy, because it is true in the ussa, and I suspect in at least a few other countries that haven't yet gone full on socialist/commie govt, there are enough people who would NEVER allow govt to throw them in 'secure camps'. Should that attempt ever be made, there is a significant portion of the population (and again I can only speak for my home country) that still believes in the Constitutional Amendments and would use 2A to stop any such actions. Or, would die trying.
Never go there.

I have mentioned before, consuming citrus fruit is very beneficial. You don't need to go to the doctor, or hospital. Buy citrus fruit at the marked, and have it yourself.

I’d be careful with the word ‘cure’. It suggests that taking Vitamin C and nothing else will make a person dying of virus to eradicate the virus without the need of further care. And of course it also implies that this result has been validated in clinical trials.explorer wrote:I have mentioned before, consuming citrus fruit is very beneficial. Vitamin C has been shown to help with the body’s immune system. Consuming fruits for Vitamin C has pulp and fiber, which additionally helps with digestion. However, too much Vitamin C can lead to kidney stones, for example.
Same with another poster peddling vitamins from reputable sources. Every seller of vitamins and nutritional supplements will say they are from a reputable source.
Supplements also have side effects and some have interactions with prescription medication and other drugs.
None of supplements are studied because there is no regulation to do so. Only after something bad happens do such studies occur.
But please, by all means continue the rant against ‘Big Pharma’ and the mysterious ‘World Order’.

there's nothing mysterious if one starts looking around. have a look at the World Economic Forum's website about 'the great reset'.
the movers and shakers in the DAVOS 2020 meeting included Bill Gates, Prince William, Marc Benioff, and George Soros > not exactly people you've never heard of.
Still want to spew that I'm a conspiracy nut? have a look at the WEF's own website.

THIS is why I said SCARY in another post - these people, and huge global corporations, and far too many governments are all members and fully on board with the Agenda 21 and Agenda 2030 promoted by WEF.
did you vote for any of these people? should they be able to reset your life without your say so or input? I sure didn't.

More Americans did not vote for Donald Trump than did but he seems to have the ability to reset peoples lives. He also has a cabal of like minded called Secretaries that were unelected but make policy that affects the lives of Americans. Of course the rich and powerful make decisions that affect others greatly, from the head of McDonalds and Coca Cola, the heads of cigarette companies or Boeing for example. They choose profit over the public health or safety. But Bill Gates and George Soros are the right wing's favourite scapegoat's not the NRA.glennb6 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 17, 2020 10:38 amhey new kid, newkidontheblock wrote: ↑Mon Aug 17, 2020 6:23 amI’d be careful with the word ‘cure’.
