Military Officers Drown Crossing Flooded Road
Cambodia News (Preah Vihear): On August 13, 2020, a car was swept away by flood waters, killing two military officers and injuring three other people, in Chombok Senchey village, Cham Ksan district, Preah Vihear.
Before the incident, a group of 5 people were in a car, when they came across the flooded road. They decided to drive through the flood waters anyway, but unfortunately, the car engine stalled in the middle of the flooded road, and the car was swept away by the strong current.

The two deceased were identified as Leng Chanpheara, 28 years old man, a military officer, and Som Song, the retired military officer. Three people who got injured were identified as Ta Kmao, 58 years old, Khorn Khen, 27 years old, and Song Meth, ten years old.

Re: Military Officers Drown Crossing Flooded Road
Some years ago, I would drive that road many times a day.
None of the streams had proper culverts under the road, so could wash out easily.
Looked a bit deep, but not very fast moving.
