But does anyone know if you can extend a ER EOS from outside of the country, ( Embassy or consulate )
I just re-read your message and comment that you have a retirement visa. I just had EB visa in my brain. If you get here before Oct you can get an extension without an issue provided you get registered on the FPCS app thing. Beyond that you are going to have a problem entering on anything other than a business visa.

Another issue is how easy or hard it is to get an EB visa when you have previously been on a ER visa. Do they pay a bit more attention to people coming 'out of retirement' and suddenly wanting a business visa here. Maybe@ PSD-Kiwi can answer that one. I am fast approaching the age when I can get a ER visa but I have wondered if it is problematic to revert back to an EB should a business or work opportunity arise.

It might be time for you to make a midnight run Dave!

when u arrive ( when you can get visas on arrival)
it will, i HOPE, be the same as before
apply for a 1month Ordinary visa
than apply for a ER, EB or EG extension, which ever applies to you.

If ur out of the country when ur current extension expires

just start over...no big deal..

FYI:i know its not that big a deal BUT
an extension is not the same as a visa
