Cambodia News, Svay Rieng Province: A Camry car was engulfed in flames while driving on National Road No. 1 in Chrey Thom Village, Bavet City, Svay Rieng Province.
A huge fire broke out in the car, probably due to an electrical fault at 1:10 AM on August 8, 2020. According to the authorities, the car that caught fire ,with the license plate Phnom Penh 2X- 2578, was owned by Sek Sokhon, male, 52 years old, a Cambodian national working at Teng Lay Dry Port Company.
The same source said that in the above incident, two fire trucks from Bavet city came to extinguish the explosion. The burning car was completely damaged, leaving only the skeleton. Fortunately the driver escaped safely and nobody else was injured.
