What makes sex great?
Re: What makes sex great?
So by that logic, one night stands can't be great sex since you haven't had time to get to all the caring?
Surely there's something to be said for that raw attraction that makes you just want to rip someone's clothes off and get it on.
Once you've read the dictionary, every other book is just a remix.
Re: What makes sex great?
I guess for some people one night stands just don’t work.
Re: What makes sex great?
Don't get it? Just because it's a one night stand doesn't mean you shouldn't care! Women can be such sociopaths
In the words of Bob Dylan I was hungry & it was your world, just like a woman!
Re: What makes sex great?
So enjoy it Mate Thats great, but very individual. From my perspective, the 40 y.o. guys who still think they are beautiful & fit, lives a little in illusion. To be honest: an older guy is not attractive to a younger woman. Just like an older woman, she is not attractive to a young guy. There are of course some exceptions. However, I have lived in Cambodia for years and no woman has looked at me for the last few years. Why to lie yourself? Such is the nature. The desire for sex passes with understanding. Sometimes even nature gives us signs that we... cannot physically anymore. However, modern people use viagra instead of meditation against the nature. Re: What makes sex great?
Personally, great sex does involve someone you care about or love. The longer you're with someone, the better sex can become. Then it's a matter of the mindset, I think. Physically it's not as much a matter of someone doing something amazing as much as just not doing weird/bad things. I did have an ex who was bad at kissing. That killed things sometimes when I felt like I was suddenly being violated in the mouth. And I had a girlfriend who was pretty self-focused in bed. That was lame. As long as you're both into it and on the same level, you care about each other, and aren't doing weird/bad things, it can be great.
Sex before that can certainly be fun. Some of the more fun sexually natured things I've done have been with girls I've just met in bars. But, I wouldn't call it great, just fun. If nothing else, condoms and risk of STDs make sure of that. Nothing better to bring down the mood and "in the moment" enjoyment than the physical act of using a condom, or the mental reminder than you need to worry about it in order to safely have sex with that person.
As for me, thold, I hope you're right. I don't know if it's just my high libido or what, but my life would be so much more peaceful, and probably more productive, if thoughts of sex would leave my head. I'm mid-thirties now, so maybe there's hope for peace in another five years!

Do you think the parents of baby boomers whined so much when the boomers started changing society? And yet the whiney ones like to call young people "snowflakes." Hmm...
Re: What makes sex great?
I’m in my late 40’s, and I can assure you that you have more than 5 years to worry about those thoughts leaving your head. The day you (or anyone else) stops thinking about it is the day that you eventually get “old”. Crack-on young man. Crack-on!!!!Electric Earth wrote: ↑Tue Aug 04, 2020 5:43 am

Late 60s and while it still works I will keep it well oiled and in good condition.
Re: What makes sex great?
Having worked for many years with elderly dementia folk, many men in their 80s and 90s. Let me tell you, these men never stop thinking about sex. Mind you they cant usually do anything other than flirt and get frisky, but they sometimes try. Then along comes the Geriatric psychiatrist and medicates them with some kind of libido suppressant and gone is all that zest and spark and they slowly wither away.Electric Earth wrote: ↑Tue Aug 04, 2020 5:43 am Personally, great sex does involve someone you care about or love.
