Sihanoukville Tuk Tuk Driver Attacks Another Driver with a Knife
Cambodia News (Sihanoukville): On July 31, 2020, a PassApp tuk-tuk driver named Sang Sim, was seriously injured after getting attacked by another tuk-tuk driver in front of Chang An hotel, Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville. The suspect used a knife to attack the victim.
The victim is from Kandal province and he moved to work as a tuk-tuk driver in Sihanoukville. He was walking along the street when he was attacked by another tuk-tuk driver.
The attacker knifed the man in the head before fleeing from the scene.

I was in SHV last year. We got a passapp to Vic hill as there are a couple of bars left. Tried the app just after 11pm. No one would come to take our request. Walked up to main st, they all lined up, parked withy their passapp tuk tuks. Not one would acknowledge the app. Only cash which when asked was about 4 times what we paid getting there. Maybe this guy broke the rules and wanted to answer the app request,

There is a lot of bullying by tuk tuk drivers.
When bullied, many tuk tuk drivers avoid conflict, and don't work in the area, so the bullies rule.
