You can't take on the entire world and win

Yeah, that place out 'there'. Anything not really Cambodia related should go here.

Does it have to be necessarily communist or simply Chinese in the end? The emperors were not communist. The ideology may change in another hundred years.

The CCP is like Iron Man, neither will be going away. They will hold onto power as long as there is the Mandate of Heaven. But since they can now control people’s thinking with the social credit system and the electronic Great Wall, there is nothing to challenge their reality. The Mandate is forever.

China has dynastic cycles. At the end of the cycle, things get very messy. There are decades of chaos and turmoil.

But the culture persists. Win at all costs. Absorb all and transform into (communist) Chinese. Obedience, loyalty, self-sacrifice, for the greater good. (Aka the party, previously the emperor.)

Outsiders can’t understand. Hence, not allowed to pollute the Chinese restaurants in Phnom Penh (borrowed from another topic).
