Robin Williams hung himself from the door knob in his closet. Just use a short length of whatever and don't support yourself or try to stand up. You'll pass out soon enough....and then....mission accomplished.
Exactly right, just use a coat hanger or other short stiff wire to hang yourself. Mission accomplished, and it isn't rocket science. You can enhance the effect with carbon monoxide or nitrous oxide if you want to!

Or you can meet up with Craptain at his dive bar of choice and he'll bore you to death with his incomprehensible drivel.

You don't know if its easy or not. Undortunately the people who did it are no longer here to explain what a wonderful peaceful bliss choking to death is. I have not tried it , but i remember one of the reason we do not hang people any more is it is painfully, nasty and can take 30 minutes or more when it goes wrong. A proper hangmans noose is designed to break the neck, not choke you, and it requires additional weights to make sur the neck is broken clean

When we were kids, we used to play a passing out game, I cant remember if we just held our breath till we blacked out or chocked ourselves, but we did black out. It was not painful, and it was kind of funny and entertaining to us. If anyone did that and passed out, with something around their neck, I think they would just then peacefully choke to death.

Actually the cause of death is a form of ligature strangulation. A cord is bound tightly around the neck and compresses the Carotid artery preventing blood flow to the brain. (Ligature strangulation can be the prevention of blood flow or airflow or both) The lack of oxygen to the brain causes lack of consciousness. If the cord is tied to some support above the victim, when they lose consciousness the weight of their body ensures that the cord remains taught and the person dies.

That's stupid. The PassApp is too small. You can't hang yourself if your feet reaches the ground. it's basic the human survival instinct reflex. This guy probably got strangle and stage crime scene.
