Cambodia News, Phnom Penh: According to reports, a man suspected of mental problems was arrested by police at 11:40 pm on July 11, 2020 at Point # 198A, Norodom Blvd, Khan Chamkar Morn.

The suspect, Pring Samros, 34, who is a homeless man, is accused of breaking into property in order to steal women's underwear.
Police say that the suspect was arrested in an attempted robbery, which failed when he stole a neighbor's ladder to climb in through a window and was spotted by a woman, who shouted out to alert the other neighbors.

Locals say most of the items lost in the neighborhood recently were women's clothing and underwear, and then finally the victims came forward to file a complaint and the police took legal action.

Police said that after questioning the suspect, he told them a story about how that he had a stranger who performed magic on him, and required him to steal women's clothing, especially women's underwear. However, police said that this is just an excuse for his fixation on women's undergarments.
