Thieves Nabbed After Snatching Phone from a Tuktuk Passenger

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On the evening of July 6, 2020, at 8:10 pm, two Cambodian men were arrested near Steung Leap guesthouse in Sangkat Stueng Meanchey 1, Khan Meanchey, Phnom Penh, for snatching a phone from a Chinese tourist in a tuk-tuk.

According to the victim and witnesses, the two suspects rode up on a motorbike and snatched a phone from a Chinese passenger riding in a tuk-tuk, near Sonthor Mok school in Khan Toul Kok. Then they tried to escape, but the police on patrol chased down the two thieves and captured them near Stueng Leap guesthouse.
Well done the police.
