Nanny Caught Pick-Pocketing iPhone

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On July 1, 2020, a 29-year-old woman, Chan Theary called Sreymom, who works as a nanny in Khan Toul Kok, Phnom Penh, was arrested for stealing an iPhone X max. The victim was identified as Chok Chanmony, 17 years old, an employee at Chip Mong company.

The police confiscated an iPhone X max from the suspect and returned it to the victim following the prosecutor's request.

Before the incident, on July 1, at 2:30 pm, the suspect rode a motorbike from the Beung Kok area to Beung Kengkong Market, supposedly to buy some shoes. But then she decided to pickpocket the victim to steal money and a phone. But the victim surprized the woman in the act and asked the security guard for help.

The local police arrested the pickpocket and sent her to the Beung Kang kong 1 police station.
