Kingdom of Wonder recommended for low costs for expat retirees

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Yeah classy comment. We are definitely not missing the arseholes who are locked out.

Of course people with family and friends, and strong ties to Cambodia, are trying to get back for real reasons, so best of luck to you all.

She was much more happy when my friend Benjamin Franklyn showed up.

Let’s be honest, that says more about you than it does her. Aside from your inability to spell Franklin, it’s clear that only money could make a girl happy in your company. I’m sure your mother is very proud of you.

Thanks Softy that was the only bit she enjoyed, she's brought me some beer and whiskey for when I return.
Now back to the topic, jokes about a guys girlfriend or wife are a bit childish

Not such a good place for Australians with a sixty something cent dollar. But rents in places like Siem Riep are ridiculously cheap. $150 a month for one bed and $250 for two beds. One would rent a two bedder and do a bit of Air B and B surely.

If they could actually get in, it would be a cheap country for retirees.
