UXO Found at Oddar Meanchey High School

Cambodia News, Oddar Meanchey: Oddar Meanchey High School students reported that three UXOs were found close to the school fence near a tree-trunk causing alarm in the morning of June 22, 2020, in Damnak Village, Tampaak Commune, Trapeang Prasat District.

The report said that as soon as the villagers and students found the unexploded ordnance, it was reported to authorities. After receiving the report, authorities immediately went to the scene .
On examination, the officials found two separate UXO sites near the school. One was located near a tree trunk next to the fence of the secondary school, and in the field near the school fence, two 62- projectiles were found in the grass.

After the inspection, the cops reported to the CMAC to come and pick up the UXOs and destroy them.

Do you really think that stuff has been sitting there unnoticed for a couple/few decades?
