Lesbians Planning Three-some Wedding in Battambang

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. As long as she’s allowed another man. Fair’s fair.

Please stop calling it polygamy.

Polygamy is where one man has multiple wives who are generally not romantically or sexually involved with one another. It’s often religion based and favours the man’s needs. The women do not get to have other men.

Polyamory is when an individual, (man or woman), is in one or more open relationships and has multiple romantic and / or loving heterosexual, homosexual, whateversexual relationships.

Swingers are people who are in open relationships and have sex with multiple people either with their partner or away from them. They generally have one partner and the thrills with other people are physical only - swingers generally steer away from forming ongoing relationships with the people they play with.

Some are more closely related to the bonobo than others!

Ya'll see the crazy Tiger dude doco on Netflix? That worked well. And we are talking polygamy here, as the butch dyke is taking on 2 fem brides. Something there screams 'not right'.

Swingers and stuff are weird, but can't judge them for their kinks, polygamists and that sort (especially the gays who are already 'different') have many cases of urgh.

Tiger King,

The 'Pups' https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/ka ... hafertepen

and plenty of straight cases too, even in the 'accepted' cultures of Islam and Mormons etc. A dominant partner, be it straight or gay, with 'control' over more than one partner is a recipe for problems. Not always, but c'mon, face it.

Interesting that the red neck gammon types on here would defend it, as long as it was done right, but then lambaste the Islamics for their 'culture', which too can be abhorrent.

This is categorically incorrect. There are plenty of polygamous relationships involving a woman with multiple husbands, and there is no rule that the husbands/wives can't be romantically involved with each other (although it's true that they usually aren't).

Watch Louis Theroux's Altered States: Love Without Limits. Good study on it. I don't think it's wrong but it certainly can attract some questionable characters.

A woman with multiple husbands is polyandry.

As been said, people are programmed to think by stereotypes. Example didn’t take long to arrive. As soon as polygamy is mentioned, most people have a lightbulb in their head flashing Islam, while polygamy had been naturally practiced everywhere for millennia before modern religions were established and still practiced by indigenous societies all around the world.
Polygamy has nothing to do with religion, it is just a natural thing to take as many wives as a man can afford. Take American Indians or most other indigenous peoples.
Our societies all were there before norms were artificially changed for us. But there is nothing natural about this, this is just conforming to groupthink.

You're confused. A man with multiple wives is called polygyny, a woman with multiple husbands is called polyandry, both are forms of polygamy. Polygamy is categorically not just confined to men with multiple wives.

Happens alot in nature to the strongest male gets all the females.
Anyway good luck to them but sometimes as with gays they feel they need to attract attention to themselves, like look at us.
