There’s hardly any here but back home they reach a premium.GTC7 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 21, 2018 5:09 pmLast I checked the pre 80's Cubs weren't more than $500-600 a few months ago.fatuousdrivel wrote: ↑Sat Jul 21, 2018 4:26 pm 20+ Honda Cubs are worth quite a bit of money, not so much here but in the West.
$1500 upwards for a round headlight pre 80’s model.
Shit happens. Went out for a burger with $5 in my pocket, came home on foot. Live and learn.fatuousdrivel wrote: ↑Sat Jul 21, 2018 4:26 pm
So anyway. $10 fine and now you’ve lost the bike. Good move batman.
Have you ever seen a pre 1981 round headlight Cub for sale in Cambodia?
Very rare and there’s no market!
Re: Registering Moto - New Rule
I almost bought one to replace my lost scooter. It was $550 and a 70cc.fatuousdrivel wrote: ↑Sat Jul 21, 2018 5:39 pm Have you ever seen a pre 1981 round headlight Cub for sale in Cambodia?

And I misread your post, I thought you meant Cubs were fetching a premium like $1500 here, not in the West.

Not true in rural Cambodia. Farmers love them as cheap workhorses.

I think it's a politically incorrect term for he/she, but more hethanshe. We don't use those terms in polite society though. We just say "it's complicated."

Re: Registering Moto - New Rule
Does anyone know whether khmers need a big bike licence to buy and register a new or used moto over 125cc? Or, is their ID card sufficient for getting plates and rego card? Any other documentation required?
