Chinese Gangsters Arrested in Sihanoukville Looking for New Victim

Cambodia News (Sihanoukville): On June 3, 2020, the Police Chief in Sihanoukville, Lieutenant Chuon Naren, reported that on May 29, 2020, the police arrested 4 suspects for a robbery at Chea Hong shop in Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville.

On March 10, 2020, a group of 6 Chinese pretended to go to buy some stuff in the shop, but then they sprayed the victim's eyes and attacked him in order to rob some money and other items from the shop. After that, the thieves ran away to escape.

More than two months later, on May 29, 2020, at 11 pm, the Sihanoukville specialist police arrested four male suspects, 3 Chinese and 1 Cambodian, with a car in Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville. The victim was identified as Zheng WenJin, a 30-year-old man, the shop manager.

The four suspects were identified as YUE MING WEI, 31 years old, a dealer, LIU JIE, 31 years old, a Casino manager, ZENG WEI XING, 33 years old with no job, and Chea Leakenakpahna, a 20-year-old Cambodian man. The police confiscated a knife, two hand-cuffs, four phones, and a car plate no. PP2BF-2749. According to the confession of Chea Leakenakpahna, and ZENG WEI XING, they attacked and robbed the shop manager on March 10, 2020, at 9:47 pm at Chea Hong shop, along with other four suspects.

The two suspects said at the moment of their arrest on May 29, 2020, at 11 pm, they were driving around in a car looking for a Chinese woman named Niu Niu, a massage worker, with the intention of kidnapping her for ransom, but the police arrested them before they found the victim. The suspects with the evidence were taken to the minor crime department of Sihanoukville police station for case preparation.

That's Confused me at first. June 3 it was reported by the police that they arrested criminals on May 29 for a robbery that happened on May 10th. I get it- they are hunting for the other 2 suspects.

I thought the one was in Korean music group BTS :0
