Introduce Yourself

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Hello!

I'm new to this forum and I thought this would be the right place to make my first post.

So, here's some details about me:
At the point of writing this, I'm 24 years old. I have already one year of Cambodia under my belt. I'm an aspiring English teacher and plan to
make Cambodia my starting point. If you think I'm just one of the countless washed up expats who claim to "teach English" I understand where
you're coming from, I know what the deal is. But unlike many of my "peers", I actually want to teach English as opposed to just get by and
finance a habit of whoring and using drugs (Btw. I'm not saying that there's something inherently wrong with that. That's just not how I roll).

Nationality: Austrian
Languages: German & English
Religion: none
Politics: Anarchy/Machiavellianism
Music: Old-School rap, electric music and metal (mostly power metal).
Favorite Movies: Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Kung Fu Hustle, Let Me In
Favorite Games: Hotline Miami, Max Payne, Skyrim
Favorite Dish: Käsekrainer
Motto: The purpose of your life, is to give your life purpose.

Things I hate: Television, feminists, nazis, cops, liars and Carinthians (and no, there is not a typo in Carinthians)

I hope that I can contribute to this forum just as much as I will gain from your contributions.

Cheers :-)

Jacket can contract "you are" correctly, which puts him ahead of a few around here...
