Finish this sentence. (or not)

If you have something so weird, strange or off-topic to post and think it doesn't belong in any other forum; you're probably right. Please put all your gormless, half-baked, inane, glaikit ideas in here. This might also be a place where we throw threads that appear elsewhere that don't belong ANYWHERE end up, instead of having to flush them. FORUM RULES STILL APPLY.

Pisses me off how the convenience stores have stopped selling cellcard topups.
no way.. since when did they stop? as far as August last summer i was getting them. From like a mom and pop store.. sometimes the store is really just the first floor of their house.
I was there October last year to end of Jan this year. Sometimes K Mart ? (red front) have them but not always. Smile and a couple of others don't do them anymore. I found a small shop on 172 that had them (pretty much like you describe I think), other than that I had to go to the place I bought the phone from near to Soriya shopping mall near central market.

you get in a bloody motorbike accident and the guy who comes to help just points “that way”.

you finally get a discount on something and even though it’s still a ripoff you’re still proud of yourself.

you’ve learned just enough Khmer to know when everyone is talking shit about you.

Maybe it was just a blip over the last winter, but they were definitely less prevalent on that trip than on my previous trips. I normally got them previously at Smile stores, which had stopped doing them completely.
