Son Knocks Out and Kills Father with Pestle

Cambodia News (Banteay Meanchey): On May 21, 2020, at 10:30 pm, a 35-year-old man, Thorn Thoun, attacked his father with a pestle and killed him in Thmor Pok village, Banteay Meanchey. The victim was identified as Nov Thorn, 58 years old.

Before the incident, the suspect went to build a house for his mother-in-law in Preah Nethpreah district. In the evening, he went drinking, and he called his father, but his father didn't pick up the call, so when he arrived home, he argued with his father. His mother, named Korn Bou, 56 years old, tried to stop the argument.
But the suspect was very drunk and also a drug addict, so he picked up a pestle to hit his father on the neck, causing him to get seriously injured and fall down unconscious. The mother called for help, but the victim died on the way to the hospital.

The police are searching for the suspect, who ran away to escape when he saw what he had done.
