Important info to have (un-pc):
1. Is the accuser a bar girl? Nothing wrong with that mind you, but it does cast a certain light. For girls so inclined, the bar (much like prison) hardens & offers a quick education in effective scams.
2. Was he being extorted? Did she ask him for loy first?
3. Were the children interviewed by experts in this sort of thing (or just the cops?) The answer is most likely no. Does such a thing even exist here? Said specialists could suss out whether the kids are being coached in their answers.
As we all know an accusation of sexual misconduct is a deadly weapon in Cambodia (against expats, not locals.) Impossible to defend against. It’s he said she said & the “she” is cambodian. Nuff said.

If he truly loves the kids as his own I could see innocently playing around and rubbing chin hairs on her forehead in a playful manner. It feels weird.
a 13-year-old watching TV and the guy enters the room and walks up to her and then does it for no reason? Yes, then that would be creepy. But if they were horsing around I could see it happening in a non-creepy manner.

Innocent until proven guilty..................
Fuck............... Why do we crucify someone without a judgement made by the courts (as such they are)
No matter if they release him this afternoon he is forever slandered on the internet for life. His future employers may decide it is not worth the risk of someone making a connection about him and future children will have to put up with the coverage and nasty shit said for life. Be great if a local bully found out when future kids are at school.
If he is truly guilty then then let justice prevail

The girls' father (they are separated for years) send money every month from Europe to help and pay for school. Both girls are well-educated and speak english fluently.
When I met the mother, few years ago, that money was sent directly to the school, and she had to ask the school to get it. Why ? I guess that was because she's able to spend it all in a week (parties, lottery, etc.).
Now that the girls live with their auntie (and the british teacher), it seems that the money goes to them (for the girls' food, school, etc.). I suppose the mother is trying to get back both the girls and money...
One more time, I have no idea if allegations of "sexual assault" are true or false.

Even if he is totally innocent his name is linked to sexual assault on children is now only a google search away forever, which would be a terrible thing to have if he has done nothing.
At my current employer a google search was done on an employee and, lo and behold, a thread about him was discovered......on CEO. Yes this very forum!
In the comments section of the thread the man was described by some as harmless but by some as a scammer and a drug user. Claims which could be completely unwarranted. True or not it realty didn't help his cause when it came to contract renewal time. The thread also contained some unfortunately staged photos of him and some of his students in Cambodia.
Disclaimer: The man was not linked to anything of a sexual nature and the photos were odd and in poor taste, there was no sexual undertone in them at all.
Be careful out there, folks.

Staying far away from other people’s children like they got a plague is not only wise but can literally save your life. Curious how some barangs can work as teachers when they know they are easy targets for extortion.

I'm not a teacher, because I don't have patience for kids or teenagers, but I imagine that if one isn't a nonce, and makes sure to never be left alone with kids there's almost no chance of a setup.
