Foreigners allowed in yet?

Post by Mr. Yuck »

Hey all,

Anyone have any solid information on the immigration procedures right now? Are visa on arrivals still no dice? When do you see them lifting these restrictions? Any info is greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Here's the current restrictions.

No visa on arrival

Your guess is as good as anyone's regarding timing of lifting of restrictions, but the bulls among us are thinking July/August and the bears are thinking nearer Christmas.

Cambodia's land and sea borders are still closed to entry of foreigners, but you can still fly in to PP if you meet the requirements below....

Must have a valid multi entry/exit Visa EOS, A-type (Diplomatic) or B-type (Official) Visa.

If not in possession of MEEV EOS, then you need to apply for Visa in Advance from a Cambodian Embassy or consulate.

No Visa exempt entry, no visas on arrival, no e-Visas (electronic Tourist Visa).

Must have medical report and negative COVID-19 test result taken within 72hrs of flight departure

Must have medical insurance coverage of USD$50,000

No entry to anyone travelling from or with a passport from;
USA
Spain
Italy
Germany
France
Iran

Mandatory 14 days quarantine in a Government quarantine facility or 14 days self-isolation - decision made pending risk assessment upon arrival.

Even if you are able to get a flight and have all the required supporting documentation, there is no guarantee that you will be permitted to board the flight or enter Cambodian Territory.

Hopefully the Government will publish an update soon, whether that update is a relaxation of the current restrictions or just another extension is anyone's guess.
