Woman Drove the Family Car into a Noodle Shop in Phnom Penh

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On May 3, 2020, at 7:10 pm, a woman drove a Prius car, plate no. PP2BC-2982, with her husband and her children, and smashed into a noodle shop and a motorbike on street 369, Sangkat Prek Prak, Khan Chbar Ampov, Phnom Penh.

Before the incident, the unidentified woman was driving her family on street 369 in the direction from south to north. They were going to buy some groceries. Then, for some unknown reason, the car smashed into a noodle shop and hit a motorbike, causing two people to get injured.

After the incident, the police came to check out the accident scene and interview the driver. The car driver agreed to pay 100 USD compensation to the motorbike owner and 800 USD to the owner of the noodle shop.

Sounds cheaper to run down a noodle shop than get stopped at a traffic control!
What about driving licence and insurance? Was she drunk?
So many Questions and no answers!
What about dangerous driving is that not fined in this country?
