It was plugged directly into the wall socket. It’s been there for about six years.

may have been a power surge in which case youll need to replace the power unit

when its fixed, dont plug it directly into the wall

fused multiplugs $5, new power unit may be expensive depend on model and brand

good luck

i took mine to one of the computer shops on kampuchea krom bcoz dealer was unhelpful

Yes I can google places. But many are dodgy or charge huge prices. I want somewhere that is recommended.

Yes there are many in that Sok Hok street. Some may be good. Many are undoubtedly bad. I want somewhere that a poster has used before and can recommend.

I fucked up the plug on the back of my Sony here in Siem Reap...I could not find anyone in SR and saw a few promising candidates in PP..
Then, I saw a video on Youtube of an Indian guy fixing Sony tvs and it looks like something I could do provided I could find the correct power board ..
The thought of taking my large tv to PP and back was a real mindfuck.
My apartment has a decent Samsung and when the fucking virus closures hit I boxed the sony up and hooked my blu ray and sound bar up to the Samsung..
Anybody know a tv repair place in Siem Reap?
