Koh Kong Crocodiles Returned to the Wild
Cambodia News (Koh Kong): On the morning of April 24, 2020, the Ministry of Environment in Koh Kong and members of the Wildlife Alliance organization, received two crocodiles from the people in Koh Kong.
The officer of the ministry of environment said they are wild crocodiles that people have fed for 27 years. The crocodiles have been sent to the Tamao conservation area.

If these are wild Siamese crocodiles, why are they being taken into captivity? I would have thought Tamao's policies would keep them in the wild unless they were injured or captured by traders.. Unless the villagers were going to kill them if they stayed, but that doesn't sound like the story here. I don't quite get it....

I don't either, they are being taken from the wild and put into captivity, so the title is completely wrong.
The crocodiles in Phnom Tamao are in large cages/ enclosures.I think its a wildlife reserve, not captivity like a cage
Crocodile with small crocodile on head a couple of months back at Phnom Tamao.
