Thai Jet Ski Scam Filmed (VIDEO)

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

FYI:
i did not see any scam in the jetski video above, as the farangs had an accident, which in the contract they signed said they would be held responsible.
The thai's did try an get a unrealistic amount of baht for the accident thou.

didn't specify beach ( how many non brits go to British beaches) but

but than the biggest scam is
A 10£ beer in London’s pubs. :beer1:

Why defend the scammers PR ? The jetski scam has been going on for years and you react like it's a normal thing for Thailand, so tourists should chill out and put up with this local custom, hey... well no.

This is from Trip Advisor, 7 years ago, and nothing has changed since then:

And when times are hard, scams are on the rise.

This is from 1 Jun 2012.

LOL. Point is that this has been going on a long time and nobody is fixing the problem. ;-)

I wonder this too..the damage it must do to the reputation of Thailand tourist operators..

I'm no big fan of those jet skis ruining the otherwise peaceful beach scene TBH but talking about them shooting themselves in the foot with these scams...

Same with the $3 massage places in Phnom Penh.
