Teen Gang Attacks Teen Couple in Phnom Penh

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On April 18, 2020, the police on patrol arrested 13 teenagers, male and female, for an attack on street 118, Khan Prampi Makara, Phnom Penh. A number of them tested positive for drug use.

The suspects were identified as Van Narun, a 17-year-old boy, tested positive drug, Hem Kimhong, a 16-year-old boy, tested positive drug, Reth Sokhan, 16-year-old boy, Koy Ponnaden, 16-year-old boy, Sreng Brospov, 16-year-old boy, tested positive drug, Khon Puthireth, 15-year-old boy, Chomroeun Thiem, a 16-year-old boy, Hong Odomvireakboth, 16-year-old boy, Seady Thearath, 16-year-old boy, Nup Rosa, 19-year-old girl, Ruth Sreyneth, 16-year-old girl, Hong Sryka, 15-year-old girl, and Keo Kimeang, a 16-year-old girl.

The two victims who were attacked by the gang, were identified as Chandara Sokto, a 15-year-old boy, a student in grade 9A, and Prum Reaksa, a 17-year-old girl, a student in grade 11.

The police confiscated a knife and six motorbikes. The suspects were detained at Khan Prampi Makara police station to have their cases prepared.
