Cambodia News (Siem Reap): On April 16, 2020, at 1:30 pm, a 41-year-old Chinese man, LIU XUEHUA, who is an employee with a Chinese road construction company in Cambodia, died of an accident while working on national road 6, Sangkat Teuk Vel, Siem Reap.
According to the Chinese translator, Kim Borey, the victim was run over by a road roller machine while he was building the road, and he died on the way to the hospital.
After conducting the post mortem examination, Mr. Eth Chobcharoth, the Siem Reap autopsist, concluded that the victim died because his bones were broken, and his intestines had been crushed.
The body has been taken to keep at Teuk Thlar pagoda, waiting for a decision from the Chinese Embassy and the family of the deceased.

Do they mean a steam roller? How can that be? Unless you are stuck in concrete a la "A fish called Wanda"?

At first glance of the story I was thinking the same thing but, knowing what we do about health and safety here it isn’t that difficult to imagine a scenario where.... the guy driving a very noisy machine was distracted, and couple that with people working in close proximity to the machine it is easy to see how this could happen. Even at walking pace it would only take a few seconds to go from his feet to his stomach. And that’s assuming the machine was in good working order.

The one time when a post mortem on a death is utterly redundant and they conduct one. After conducting the post mortem examination, Mr. Eth Chobcharoth, the Siem Reap autopsist, concluded that the victim died because his bones were broken, and his intestines had been crushed
At least they didn't say he died of a heart attack...
