Travel ban from midnight tonight?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. Or, North of Phnom Penh to Kandal Province?

Struggling to get clarity on the specifics of the travel ban, and what classes as a district etc.

Cheers
They clarified today that PP and Kandal province will be counted as one. Koh Dach belongs to PP anyway so there shouldn’t be an issue.
I just noticed that Koh Dach is Phnom Penh and the nearby Koh Okhna Tei is Kandal province.
Sorry to put a fly in the ointment but I asked Mrs Cargo that yesterday and she said her good friend's mother got stopped going to Koh Dach. So not definitive..anecdotal.. However maybe still worth a try nevertheless but prepare for possible disappointment.
I think Mrs Cargo is probably correct.
My missus is currently in Kandal and assures me that the roads are blocked despite Kandal and Phnom Penh supposedly being open for travel.

I went up to the massive lake today (don't know the name), which is left and on a level with the top of Koh Dach Island when you look at a map. In Kandal Province.

About 40 mins tuk tuk from the centre of PP, so quite a distance.

No restrictions whatsoever.

Imagine Koh Dach should be the same as that's actually in PP.

The domestic travel ban is over.
"Penh (FN), Apr. 16 – Cambodian Prime Minister HE issued a new decision on Thursday to revoke travel restriction, effective from 6 a.m of 16 July 2020."
