worth the watch even if only to learn how much meat a couple of hundred big cats need every day.

Why do all these people have so much money?

Yeah the running joke on the internet is how the most normal one out of all of them was Tony Montana. :D
Spoiler:
My favorite characters were the girl who lost her arm and the campaign manager guy. The girl seemed to really care about the animals and the guy had the best summary of the whole thing. America doesn’t give a damn about how we’ve got 50% of the world’s tigers in captivity. A true American tragedy.

The “girl”, Saff, is actually a guy! But you are right, he was the MVP of the series.

I believe Kelci Saffrey is a transgender who was originally a woman but now identifies as a man.

David Spade has some good interviews with the cast. The nanny shows up at the end of this one:

"You can't teach the beast. It's either in you or it isn't. You can't just go to the store and buy a six-pack of beast. It don't work like that." — Kevin Garnett

Cool! I had no idea this show existed. However, yesterday I watched an episode of Louis Theroux on BBC iPlayer
https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b ... erous-pets
where this fuckin' weirdo is featured.

Now, I find this thread on CEO. Downloading all episodes as I write...

a very interesting read;

Why ‘Tiger King’ Is Not ‘Blackfish’ for Big Cats

Critics say the popular Netflix series and its directors lost sight of the conservation and animal welfare problems at the heart of the story of Joe Exotic.

This upsets me
More captive tigers live in backyards, roadside zoos and truck stops in the United States than remain in the wild. This phenomenon is driven by people like Joseph Maldonado-Passage, the star known better as “Joe Exotic” in “Tiger King,” Netflix’s hit documentary series.
