Thailand Travel Restrictions and Info

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

I can't imagine he's going to hang around once he's shown his face so I wonder if they are going to shut it down again and screw more people's departure plans when he decides to leave. What a joke.

Yes I think you're right that would make sense, straight back out after he's appeared for the cameras. Ain't going to happen but imagine if someone managed to get a photo of his arrival and departure at the airport and release it lol.

ON Phuket island
Patong, Karon Beach Kata Beach & Rawii are in lockdown, meaning you cant leave the area, advised to stay at home and also on a 8pm-5 am curfew. (rest of country 10-4)

North of Patong is ok ( for now)

I second that! Just wow. Just found this in a news story about THAI Airways desperation for a bailout.
The airline announced last week [mid-March] that it would suspend all international flights until May 31, except its routes to Munich and Zurich, in Germany and Switzerland, respectively.
