Following the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Outbreak - News and Discussion
Re: Coronavirus (COVID-19) Outbreak in Cambodia as it Happens- News and Discussion
To be honest, I don't fancy travelling anywhere right now until I've had the virus and got immunity (not my first choice), there's a vaccine that I've been given or mass testing shows there is mass immunity in the community which will afford some protection.
Failing one of the above, staying put in my booze free, exercise rich 'health farm' sounds like a good plan.

The problem is, occasionally you have to get out to stock up.Doc67 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 28, 2020 3:47 pm To be honest, I don't fancy travelling anywhere right now until I've had the virus and got immunity (not my first choice), there's a vaccine that I've been given or mass testing shows there is mass immunity in the community which will afford some protection.

Today was my day to stock up a bit, and locals were doing their usual thing, their usual way. Not much has changed here in the Northeast. Social distancing is an unknown concept. Luckily so is racism so far.

MOSCOW, March 27 (CGTN) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced a nationwide stay-at-home holiday from March 28th to April 5th to combat the spread of coronavirus.
As the number of cases in Russia rose to 658, the President called on people to stay home, but stopped short of implementing a full lockdown.

The Phnom Penh shop owners have been urged to stay open so the people can buy food.
To stop reading the Fake News on facebook and and Phnom Penh is not being locked down.
Here in Siem Reap, I went to Lee's frozen food today and my wife used clorox wipes to sanitize the tuk tuk..Plus, the security guard met us at the front gate with sanitizer and a thermometer...We then were allowed into the warehouse.
I bought a prime graded New Zealand ribeye, a slab of pork ribs from the USA, 2kg of buffalo from India and 2kg of mozzarella from Italy..
My wife is making what I would call jerky out of the buffalo..
My Khmer landlord saw my old ass schlepping a bottle of drinking water from my wife's Scoopi and ordered 20- large bottles for us and the other residents.
What a kind gesture.
This racism crap is tossed around so much.
It is just fake news.

Johns Hopkins site data is completely out of whack with Aust government data.
Aussies might want to take a look - got temps entering the data? Chimps? OR...what.
They are supposed to know more about this than me but now I've got some doubts.
