Time for our Dr Pommy to give us his views.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Re: FANTASTIC time to emigrate!!!!
It seems my decision to leave Indonesia was prudent. To the tough guys who probably haven't experienced an Asian country in full blown disaster melt down, and who continue to maintain a completely selfish irresponsible approach to the situation, fuck you, you neanderthals.
https://www.9news.com.au/world/coronavi ... d1178f8697There are predictions one of Australia's closest neighbours, Indonesia is "on the cusp of a full blown coronavirus disaster".
The country has the world's highest death rate but is testing the least amount of people, with fears a lack of stringent lockdown measures will mean half the nation - the fourth most populous in the world - will soon be infected.

While Cambodia is for many the place where "anything goes" it's also the place where anything goes for the man who chained himself in power and threw away the key. What will happen is down to how HE sees it and draconian measures like in Thailand may be introduced.
Regarding how long the virus will take its toll, well, I doubt it will just suddenly stop on its own and there's no vaccine until 12-18 months from now. We could be looking at 2020 as the Great Lost Year. My prediction is, we have months more of this ahead of us as case numbers fall and then rise up again. Worst case scenario, all the way into 2021.
I hope I'm wrong.
"But some public health researchers are suggesting travel restrictions will last much longer than a few months.
"Things are going to be very difficult for 12 months or more," Penn State epidemiologist Maciej Boni told CNN Travel.
In a piece in the Conversation, a network of not-for-profit media outlets that publish news stories written by academics and researchers, Boni suggests there will be a year of disruption.
"Vacations may have to be canceled. Social interactions will look different. And risk management is something we're going to have to think about every morning when we wake up," he writes.
The decision about whether you can safely venture out of the house, never mind the country, will come when we've managed to "stamp out transmission" of COVID-19, says Kumi Smith, an assistant professor of epidemiology at the University of Minnesota. At this stage, she told CNN Travel, no one can say when that might be."

HUH.....draconian measures like in Thailand may be introduced.
Thailand merely followed what Singapore and Malaysia put in place. China has also closed its borders an many other countries have forced 14 days quarantine if you do venture there and are allowed in.
Dont see you calling them out
In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST
