Getting Retirement Visa for Cambodia?
Getting Retirement Visa for Cambodia?
Arrived 14th March 20 at Siem Reap Airport with Tourist visa on arrival I decided not to go back to Bangkok. I was there from 20th of January, but now everything changed. What is (now) the best way to get a retirement visa? I'm 71 years old German. Many thanks for the help

You need to have an E class (ordinary) visa in order to get an ER extension. That will require a visa run, which - as you're probably aware - is bloody difficult due to current circumstances,Macmac wrote: ↑Sun Mar 22, 2020 9:02 pm Arrived 14th March 20 at Siem Reap Airport with Tourist visa on arrival I decided not to go back to Bangkok. At this point, I think your best bet is to get the one month extension through a travel agent. One month extension gives you until May 14th. Hate to say it but things may not have changed by then.
You needed to get a different type of visa when you arrived in order to change it to a retirement visa. Others can offer more detailed advice.
Good Luck

USED to be, an agent will handle taking ur passport to the border and getting it stamped out and back in with the correct visa...not sure if they will do it but knowing the Khmers and that they need to make $$ they will find a way
BUT it will cost ya
Laos is closed.Thailand requires heath certificate and med insurance valid for $100,000 to enter
