Is it possible to go in and out in the same day? Arrive, leave airport, catch a flight a few hours later before the Thai lock down starts?Clemen wrote: ↑Fri Mar 20, 2020 3:24 pm Phnom Penh airports website is showing arrivals:

How will you get back in to Thailand though?

In theory yes. It would have to be today. You would obviously need the tickets, I don't know if there is availability. The situation is so fluid there is no way of saying definitively yes or noRandolphgb wrote: ↑Fri Mar 20, 2020 8:52 pmIs it possible to go in and out in the same day? Update: Flew in with Thai Smile and currently at Phnom Penh Airport. No questions asked for the 30 day tourist visa and very smooth.
Waiting for the Bangkok Airways flight back at 3pm.
Yes, AirAsia have cancelled all international flights to and from Thailand starting March 22. Expect many other airlines to follow this, as the country's restrictions which start on March 22 amount to a de facto travel ban.

Back to Thailand. The check-in desk at Phnom Penh were friendly and didn't ask many questions. They were checking visas more carefully and asking questions about travel history. There were LOTS of Westerners and Chinese leaving Phnom Penh, but no more than I've seen there before.
Arrivals at Suvarnabhumi were deserted. There was a desk for installing a smartphone app which needs a passport picture and has all the same information add as the landing form.
No questions at Thai immigration about medical certificate and insurance. However, suspect this will all change tomorrow.

That's great news and thanks for the updates which be useful for others - or maybe not after today, as you say.Randolphgb wrote: ↑Sat Mar 21, 2020 9:01 pm Back to Thailand. Anyway, you got through ok, and it's good to hear some good news about travelling. Things are becoming very complicated.

Thanks. I'll be following the situation with Phnom Penh - will be interesting to see if they put any more restrictions on countries.
