£25k fine and banned for tweeting " sket"

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

I had never heard of the term, and therefore didn't know you could get into trouble for saying it.
sket
Short for Sketel. Caribbean term for Super Ho.
That girl is a sket. Do not drop the t.

Rio Ferdinand given three-match ban for 'sket' comment on Twitter

Rio Ferdinand was tonight hit with a severe three-match ban and £25,000 fine for his “sket” comment on Twitter, having declined to attend the Football Association hearing this week.
The former England defender did not attend the hearing on the FA’s misconduct charge, issued on 14 October, a move which went down particularly badly with the three-man commission that heard the case. They also took his previous conduct into account, including the “choc ice” episode with Ashley Cole resulting in what was a surprisingly high tariff.

Ha! I know a few skets...possibly too many. Now I know what to call them.

I wonder if he would have got fined for saying slapper or ho? If not, is that discriminating against people of Jamaican descent! The pc stuff is a can of worms.
